The highly compromised U.S. Justice Department has cobbled together as many lawsuits against Trump as they can, (4 criminal cases and counting). Special Counsel, Jack Smith is finally answering to his misfit deeds. In a recent court filing, Jack Smith admitted that some of the boxes obtained from Mar-a-Lago are in a different order within each box than when the Justice Department first obtained custody of the boxes, and others are suggesting that the evidence was tampered with by the FBI and other government handlers.
What Did the FBI Claim to Find?
The evidence is supposedly four dozen empty document folders marked “CLASSIFIED,” and another 42 empty folders marked “Return to Staff Secretary/Military Aide” from an August 8, 2023 raid on Trump’s home.
Trump's attorneys wrote in their filing, “President Trump and counsel are deeply troubled to be learning of these facts approximately 11 months after the charges were filed in this case.”
What’s most troubling is that the FBI has not recovered the supposed classified documents that were purported to be in the folders seized from Mar-a-Lago.
Evidence Tampering in the Trump Case Over Documents Seized by FBI
If the evidence was tampered with, that is a 3rd-degree felony. It comes with a $10,000 fine and a 2 to 10-year prison sentence. If Jack Smith directed his staff to tamper with evidence that would implicate Trump unfairly, we’ve got bigger problems on our hands.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Jim Jordan, initiated an investigation into Smith’s handling of the evidence from Mar-a-Lago. There is already some incriminating testimony.
A former White House valet and Navy veteran, Walt Nauta, who once served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago, and who was indicted with Trump last year, told his attorney that the order of the seized items in the boxes didn’t match scans provided during discovery. Were some boxes replaced with planted evidence? The Justice Department swore to the court that no tampering had taken place. But this is now clearly a lie.
As one X commenter states, “Normally a Special Counsel is appointed from outside the government to avoid political bias. They also are supposed to be a lawyer with a reputation for integrity and impartial decision-making. Smith has been spanked several times for unethical actions. He is also not impartial.”
The widely circulated photos of the FBI documents seized are also in question. The DOJ lied to the court once again, stating that red, blue, and yellow sheets placed on top of piles of “classified” or “top secret” documents indicated their classification status. They were, in fact, sheets applied to the top of the documents by the FBI, and the “so-called” classified documents were dismantled from the folders from which they supposedly came.
The DOJ’s is attempting to thwart Jordan’s inquiry. Judge Aileen Cannon who is overseeing the federal criminal case against Trump is fielding accusations from the Department, stating that key witnesses were getting death threats. But Jack Smith’s team also admitted that there could be evidence tampering, so which is it?
Trump’s lawyers have asked that unredacted documents be returned to Trump but Smith’s team is also attempting to block this request. It begs the question? After admitting to tampering with evidence, what else does the DOJ have to hide? It stinks of criminal misconduct.
What Does This Mean for America?
Considering that boxes of evidence were seized by the FBI, and considering Jack Smith’s admittance that the order of so-called classified documents within the boxes is not associated to the scans, and that his previous representation to the federal court was wrong (perjury), in addition to the DOJ’s attempt to sway a witness, allow the influence of witnesses by death threats, and more, it is clear that there is no justice in America, and that our DOJ is corrupt through and through.
The malice behind these politically motivated moves is glaringly obvious, but who will hold Jack Smith to task? Is he going to indict himself for tampering with evidence, committing perjury, and attempting to sway the outcome of a Federal, criminal trial? Not in today’s America. Bribery is the way of government in the White House. Are we living in a banana republic? With the numerous “gotcha” attempts against Trump, it seems the truth is coming to light.
Jim Jordan is sending a letter to the Office of Responsibility - this isn’t just an accusation. There is proof, and Jack Smith had to admit that after Jordan’s suggestion that the FBI tampered with evidence, but what consequences will be doled out? This isn’t the first time Jordan has called out the witch hunt for Trump. Jordan also wrote a letter in December, pointing to Jack Smith and the FBI’s misdeeds. It states,
“Based on publicly available information, the Committee has significant concerns about your commitment to evenhanded justice. You have a record of attempting to criminalize political discourse, as evidenced by your reported interest in how the Justice Department could prosecute conservative tax-exempt groups engaging in constitutionally protected political speech. Your staff appointments for the Office of Special Counsel also lead to concern about your commitment to fairness and justice. For example, one senior attorney in your office reportedly once pushed for an investigation into a conservative figure so adamantly that Department leaders worried that the attorney 'could expose the department to accusations that it had politicized the probe.' The bullying tactics of Mr. Bratt, as we have detailed in our September 7 letter, only reinforce the perception that you and your staff are more interested in winning the case than in doing justice.”
The DOJ is corrupt. Jack Smith has implicated himself under the duress of Jim Jordan’s accusations.
I'd say the bullying tactics by Jay Bratt is saying it mildly. First, he went to Mar-a-Lago in June prior to the raid, and inspected the storage facility. He brought 3 FBI agents with him and told Trump and his lawyer to secure the storage room with a better lock and the FBI went thru the boxes and left with documents. Two months later Mara-a-Lago is raided by the FBI. Now, Bratt is the prosecutor for Jack Smith in the plan by the Administration to attach a felony to Trump before the election. Now we find Bratt bribed Stanley Woodward, the attorney for Trump's military valet, Will Nauta, to say his client lied and that Trump told him to move the classified documents. Woodward filed a prosecutorial misconduct report against Bratt for an attempt to bribe him which is being investigated, and will go in file 13 at the DOJ.
Now, we find that the National Archives and the DOJ e-mailed each other in September 2021, less than a year after Trump left office. The former Archivist Ferriero, wrote a draft letter to Merrick Garland seeking assistance on what he perceived as suspected removal or destruction of Presidential records. This is so nefarious it screams of collusion. After 4 years in the WH how on earth could a President whose staff removed all his personal belongings, which would certainly be at least 200+ boxes review the contents. Even the FBI during the raid took books with family photographs and passports. Yet, the Archives in 8 months talks to the DOJ on missing or destruction of records from the WH? It's so ridiculous we know it is the extension of the mission to stop Trump with lies, deception, and collusion. The sad and more devastating part of the hunt for the final blow to bring down Trump is the in your face retaliatory election interference happening to a Presidential candidate running against Joe Biden.
In 3+ years, Biden has shredded our legal system, ignored any oversight by Congress and, in fact, told Congress to kiss his hairy legs, gave the finger to SCOTUS, brought us into 2 wars, one where Russia was told by Biden that he was okay if it was a minor incursion and Russia attacked Ukraine the next week. In Afghanistan's devastating race to abandon by Biden, 13 of our troops were killed at Abby Gate in Kabul and under the Biden orders he closed the largest military base with the Bagram airfield (a gift to China-along with free passage of China's military surveillance of our nuclear weapons facilities across the country with a spy balloon). In his usual fashion the military could only defend itself so the suicide bomber was able to blow our troops to pieces while a sharpshooter in our military was told to stand down. As the caskets of our 13 soldiers came off the plane at Dover, Biden looks at his watch 3x and lies to a grieving father that he was in the same boat since his son Beau died in Iraq, which was a lie. In true Biden fashion, Russia hacks the largest gasoline pipeline on the East Coast by Russian hackers and Biden gives Putin a list of what he wants to keep safe but leaves crucial infrastructure vulnerable. He sends billions to Ukraine for a war it cannot win, and holds aid to Israel for a war that it can. And sends 2 destroyers to Gaza to protect the pier that our troops are building to give aid to Palestinians. Biden's band of hacks are sitting down with the Saudis and UAE to go over plans to rebuild Gaza. But the Saudis and UAE say they won't cooperate without a Palestinian state, and you wonder, why aren't the Palestinians welcome in their countries since a separate state is out of the question. Now, China is circling the Philippines and the Ambassador of Japan is flying to Okinawa using military aircraft and the Okinawans are not pleased since they don't want the U.S. military landing near Taiwan, which, of course, will incite China. Does Biden care? Absolutely not since he is relying on the 10 to 15 million illegals he has let cross the southern border and he himself has flown into the swing states to save his ass.
We can only hope with the stakes so high, the American people will overwhelm the votes for Trump and he'll hit the ground running to bring our country back from the brink.
